Come and visit the Bacalhôa Palace and discover a privileged landscape with a historical background that began with the founders of the Avis Dynasty. The architecture, decoration and gardens of the Palace have been influenced over the centuries by the different owners, inspired by their travels through Europe, Africa and the East, thus contributing to make it a unique jewel. Throughout the ages, the Palace has been embellished with Portuguese tiles from the 16th century. XV and XVI evoking Moorish designs and with a lake house. From inside to outside, you can see unique pieces from the private art collection, through the gardens and vineyards to the lake house where we can find the first tile dated in Portugal.
